ROBERT EDEL
Robert Edel is a partner at DLA Phillips Fox in Perth, advising
on project development issues including land acquisition, mining
titles, native title and preparation of construction contracts for
development of a mining project in the northern goldfields.
Robert holds degrees in Jurisprudence and Laws from the University
of Western Australia. In 1993 he was awarded a Masters Degree specialising
in International Commercial Law from the University of London. After
completion of his Masters Degree, Robert practised with a major
English commercial firm and acted for a large number of major US
and European corporations in the field of energy and resources and
cross border transactions.
He specialises in project development in the mining and energy
sectors, including contract preparation, environmental issues, native
title, constitution contracts, Mining Act issues and all litigation
arising from project development. Robert also advises on a range
of insolvency issues.
Robert was integral in the formation of the Stop The Toad Foundation
and has a strong commitment to its objectives.
