Toad Education

One of Stop the Toad’s aims is to increase community awareness of the cane toad problem in Australia. Since 2005, Stop the Toad staff and volunteers have carried out hundreds of educational talks to schools, Rotary groups and caravan parks across Australia. Our presentations aim to give an introduction of The Foundation, how we fight the cane toad battle in northern Australia and what your group can do to help.

One of our most dedicated volunteers and newest board member, Gary Pike, has taken on the role of chief educator and spends a lot of his time spreading the word for The Foundation. Gary is more than happy to come and visit your organisation, but you will probably have to book well in advance as he is often booked up for months at a time! A small tax deductible donation to Stop the Toad is always appreciated for Gary’s time and energy. To contact Gary, email [email protected] or phone 041 1709 305.
