Toad Forum
PUBLIC FORUM - PERTH
SATURDAY 17th JUNE 2006
10am - 12 noon
.. a Stop The
Toad Foundation event ..
It’s been a year since the first Perth cane
toad forum
What’s been achieved? Where are the toads now? Are we closer
to a biological control? Is there really any chance of stopping
them? What can I do to help?
Cane toads have been called extinction in motion and are almost
at the doorstep of Western Australia. Under immediate threat is
the unique and fragile Kimberley region. Community groups and government
agencies in Western Australia and the Northern Territory are now
implementing control programs in a bid to stop toads from entering
WA. You can help.
Travelling to the Kimberley or across-the-top this year? Then this
Forum will be of special interest to you.
